After each use, remove metal debris (to prevent mold jamming); apply silicone-based grease to the rotating shaft monthly; store in a dry environment to prevent mold rusting.

 

Q11: What to do in case of a loose crimp?

Use wire strippers to remove the old terminal and crimp a new one; apply conductive paste and reinforce with heat shrink tubing (only for emergency, replacement should be done as soon as possible).

 

Q12: What safety precautions should be taken during operation?

Confirm that the system is completely powered off before crimping (to prevent DC arc); wear insulating gloves and safety glasses (to prevent metal splashing); do not exceed the specified wire diameter range (which may cause the pliers’ jaws to crack).

 

Q13: Can photovoltaic crimping pliers be used in energy storage systems?
